Update March 23: In response to government advice following the COVID-19 outbreak, if we are not able to run this course on the date advertised, it will be rearranged for later in the year, or refunded.
Led by the top agents from esteemed London literary agency, C&W, join us on Saturday, April 25 for your chance to pick the brains of some of the UK’s leading agents and publishers.
Over the course of an intensive day of talks and workshops, you will receive the inside track on the business of getting published - from the art of the covering letter and crafting a compelling sequence of chapters to the narrative mistakes you need to avoid. In addition, you should expect practical sessions on editing your work, building a social profile, creative writing courses and catching the eye of the industry.
The course is suitable for writers of fiction and non-fiction as well as those eager to understand how the mysterious business of representation and publication really works. The course will conclude with the opportunity to hear from the extraordinary writer Lemn Sissay on the process of being discovered, published and working with a publisher and agent.
Founded in 2000 as Conville & Walsh, C&W is a leading international literary agency based in the UK.
