2020 Courses: The essentials of good interior design practice

Join Emma Rayner and Katie Earl from London's No12 Studio for a two-day weekend course taking place on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, focused on the essentials of good design practice. Aimed at those with a passion for interior design, this intensive course will use interactive seminars, workshops and practical demonstrations to relay the creative and conceptual design process.

In a world of designers, creators and more, No12 studio have a unique take on the practice of interior design. Their bold use of concept, materiality and attention to detail provides authentic and unique spaces for people to live, work and play.

Combining interior design, interior architecture and creative direction, Emma and Katie will cover everything from creating the foundations for a successful project to practical considerations, budget and client objectives. Paying special attention throughout to design aesthetic and the use of hard materials and soft furnishings, Emma and Katie will refer to and deconstruct their own work as case studies for demonstrating how to overcome design and practical challenges. 

By the end of this course, those attending will leave thinking like an interior designer and have the confidence to start work on their own projects. The price includes lunch on both days and refreshments.

  7. Wherever possible changes will be publicised prior to the event and alternative tickets or refunds provided.

  8. Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of TNL, or their employees, TNL will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of attendance at the event.
