Join us on Thursday, May 26 to hear royal correspondents, Valentine Low, The Times and Roya Nikkhah, The Sunday Times discussing the Queen’s 70 years of service with Manveen Rana, Stories of our times podcast host.

On February 6, 2022, Her Majesty the Queen became the first British monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking an unprecedented anniversary of service.

Join us the week before the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee central weekend takes place as we discuss the Queen's 70 remarkable years on the throne and consider what may lie ahead for the monarchy in the coming years.

Valentine Low has covered the royal family — and other stories — for The Times since 2008. He has been to Russia with the Queen, the Galapagos Islands with the Prince of Wales and Bhutan with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Roya Nikkhah is Royal Editor at The Sunday Times and has more than a decade of experience on the royal beat. She has interviewed the Prince of Wales and Prince Harry, and broadcast alongside Huw Edwards for the BBC’s coverage of the Duke of Edinburgh's Service of Thanksgiving and funeral, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding, the Queen's Birthday Parade and the 75th anniversary of D-Day. She will also be involved in the BBC's coverage of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June. Roya has also presented two royal documentaries, Prince William: Monarch in the Making and Meghan & Harry: The Baby Years.
