Buying a home is regularly listed as one of life's most stressful experiences but this doesn't need to be the case. Albert Hill is co-founder of The Modern House, the country’s foremost estate agency for houses and apartments of outstanding design. He has helped to reimagine what an estate agency looks like, with a focus on helping people to live in more thoughtful and beautiful ways. 

In this two-hour masterclass, Albert will look at everything from the 'non negotiable' aspects of buying a home to where to look to discover your perfect house. Paying special attention to preparing for purchase, building a support team as well as where to spend and where to scrimp on your newly acquired asset. This course is aimed at both those who have already been through the process of purchasing a property as well as those who are thinking about doing it for the first time.

About Albert Hill

Albert graduated from the University of Bristol with a BA in Art History, and was the Design Editor at Wallpaper under founding editor Tyler Brûlé. He has written for The Guardian, The Times and The Independent, contributed to a number of books, and commentated on architecture and property on television and radio.

Pursuing his passion for the crossover between architecture and commerce, he founded The Modern House in 2005, and continues to apply his entrepreneurial energy to growing the company and exploring new markets.
