Led by leading literary agent, Clare Conville, founder of agency C&W, we’ve put together a half-day course to give you the inside track on how to get published, and you’ll get the chance to pick the brain of one of the industry's most respected figures who represents bestselling writers including Matt Haig, Rachel Joyce and SJ Watson to Booker Prize winner, DBC Pierre.
Over the course of an intensive four hours of talks, you will receive the inside track on the business of getting published - from the art of the covering letter and crafting a compelling sequence of chapters to the narrative mistakes you need to avoid. In addition, you will hear from Clare on the editing process - as well as receiving her expert view on how to catch the eye of the industry.
The course is suitable for writers of fiction and non-fiction as well as those eager to understand how the mysterious business of representation and publication really works.
