At an exclusive online Times+ event which took place on the evening of Thursday, May 28, three of our acclaimed sport journalists gave their insights and answered questions from subscribers on what's next for sport in these unprecedented times.
Rebecca Myers, lead reporter for The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year awards, was joined by Henry Winter, The Times chief football correspondent and Mike Atherton, The Times chief cricket correspondent, as they discussed the challenges facing sport at this time and how we can welcome the return of sporting fixtures.
“A really excellent panel, and such an engaging, detailed, informative and lively discussion. Excellently moderated by Rebecca Myers, and (as a budding sports lawyer) I picked up many points from this insightful event. Thank you very much!”
“Very much enjoyed this event - Rebecca Myers was an excellent host and the insight provided by all three was excellent.“
“Enjoyed the relaxed but insightful delivery of this event. It remained upbeat despite the fact we are all missing being able to watch live sport. The format of Henry, Mike and Rebecca chairing worked really well. Thanks.”
