Summer wines with Will Lyons joined by Culture editor, Helen Hawkins

Online event

Each season subscribers are invited on a virtual wine tour guided by The Sunday Times Wine expert Will Lyons. Up next to join Will tasting a delicious selection of summer wines is The Sunday Times Culture magazine editor Helen Hawkins. So pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass of wine and join us on Thursday, August 20 for an evening of wine and lively conversation.

As we slip into the rhythms of Summer, our palates naturally crave something a little lighter, with more acidity, spritz and citrus fruit. Something that will refresh and lift the mood. During the evening, you’ll go on a vinous journey across the wine route to explore the perfect wines to match those summer occasions, whether it’s dining alfresco, firing up the barbecue or a picnic under the stars.

You will be guided by the best in the business, Sunday Times Wine columnist and club vice-president Will Lyons and hear Helen Hawkins’ reflections on each of the wines selected. As editor of The Sunday Times Culture Magazine, Helen has many tales of sharing a glass or two with some of the most interesting names in the arts world.

If you would like to purchase the three wines that will be featured on the night at £47.97 with free delivery (normally £55.48) please visit here.
