At an exclusive online Times+ event which took place on July 9, bestselling author Lionel Shriver was in conversation with Robbie Millen, literary editor for The Times, answering your questions and discussing her book We Need To Talk About Kevin as well as her wider body of work. 

Lionel Shriver  is a widely published journalist, who has written fourteen novels which have been translated into 28 languages including;  the New York Times bestsellers So Much for That (a finalist for the 2010 National Book Award and the Wellcome Trust Book Prize) and The Post-Birthday World (Entertainment Weekly’s 2007 Book of the Year), and The Sunday Times bestseller The Mandibles: A Family, 2029 – 2047.  Lionel won the BBC National Short Story award in 2014 and her first collection of short stories, Property, was published in 2018.
