At an exclusive online Times+ event which took place on Wednesday, July 22 Adam Kay, multi-million bestselling author of This is Going To Hurt, comedian, former doctor and columnist for The Sunday Times, spoke with Victoria Derbyshire about Dear NHS: 100 Stories to Say Thank You, a charity book which he has curated with a star-studded line up.
Dear NHS features 100 household names telling their personal stories of the health service including Paul McCartney, Emilia Clarke, Stephen Fry and many more. Deeply moving, hilarious, hopeful and impassioned, these stories together become a love letter to the NHS and the 1.5 million people who work within it.
The hope is that the book, and the money it raises for charity, will in some way manage to say thank you to the heroes who are putting our lives before their own every day. You can purchase of a hardback copy of Dear NHS: 100 Stories to Say Thank You at £16.99 including postage and packaging from Primrose Hill Books here. A minimum of £8.00 from the sale of each book from this event will be paid to NHS Charities Together and £0.15 will be paid to The Lullaby Trust.
