Join us on the evening of Thursday, November 12 for a delicious evening with Donna Hay, regular contributor to The Times Food. Donna will be joined by Tony Turnbull, food editor for The Times, demonstrating recipes from her latest book Everyday Fresh: Meals in Minutes along with answering your culinary questions.

We all want to create delicious meals with a minimum of fuss. When you add healthy or nutritious to that, some people shy away, concerned that a nutritional boost will be at the expense of flavour and ease. Donna’s approach is to give simple flavour twists, clever ingredient tweaks and inspiration on how to take everyday classics to new levels of deliciousness.

Inside Everyday Fresh, you’ll find fabulous flavourful ideas for every day of the week and so much more. It’s filled with go-to dinners like a freezer-ready master stock chicken and a nourishing mint pesto broccoli bowl. And the sweets, such as a fudgy dairy-free chocolate cake recipe, that’s just so delicious (and filled with all the good stuff), and a super-simple 4-ingredient caramel bliss ball recipe you’ll absolutely love.

Donna Hay is Australia’s leading food editor and bestselling cookbook author who has made her way into hearts (and nearly every home) across the country. An international publishing phenomenon, Donna’s name is synonymous with accessible yet inspirational recipes and stunning images. Her acclaimed magazine notched up an incredible 100 issues and her bestselling cookbooks have sold more than seven million copies worldwide. The donna hay brand goes beyond the printed page, featuring an impressive digital presence; a number of television series; branded merchandise; and a baking mix in Australian supermarkets. Donna is the very proud mum of two teenage boys, adores living near the ocean and still loves cooking every single day.

Tony Turnbull is the food editor of The Times, covering everything from news and features to restaurant reviews and recipe writing. He has written several cookbooks, both under his own name and in collaboration with celebrity chefs. He does all the cooking at home.
